Estate Agents

Following the uproar that the Tonight Holiday Haggling programme seems to have caused, is there anyway estate agents could be next on Martin's "hit list"?

When we bought our house nearly 3 years ago we both had a house to sell. Both agents charged us 3% (OK, was not nearly so money-saving-savvy then!) and did very little for the money.

The agent selling my husband's house didnt even do the viewings as we were living there at the time and trying to get information out of them was like pulling teeth.

I know there are a lot of "sell your own house" schemes out there and I think that a bit of publicity from Martin on the Tonight programme could really give them a boost and save the general public a whole lot of cash in the process.

Just a thought... :)

I just pop in now and then.... :)
