Wasn't sure about this email I had. Been with VO for some time and my email knows its not junk, yet I get sent a VO email and its sitting in my junk box.

Taking a closer look, it looks like a phishing scam!

People beware! This if it is a scam looks very similar to VO and asked me to click through to a link. What gave it away? the email address it was sent from and the fact it was suggesting a competition win rather then any cash reward.

Would post it on here but don't think thats the right thing to do. Will forward the email to VO themselves to see what they have to say.

If you click on details on the email, it will tell you who sent it, but as you filter your VO emails then either a scam or one of these spam emails to get you to sign up. I remember getting hundreds of Spam from various addresses all about get a free iPad with Toluna, which I already know is BS cause its a product test and 6 only for 4million members. But they obviously thought that they would forget to mention that in their mail :D Needless to say Gmail filtered it to the Junk mail folder.

I've been a member for years. Not had any surveys to complete for a while and tried to log in on Friday without success. Funny how my e-mail address and password are invalid. What on earth is going on? Anyone know?

Gutted, just got an invite asking me if I wanted to take part in a survey over 3 days paying £37.50.
I answered the qualifying questions, was told I qualified and asked if I wanted to take part. I said yes and it said they already had too many people with a similar profile. So annoyed, was I supposed to say no I didn't want to take part.

If you try to log on through any of the links they send you of following a survey, it wont work. Never does and no one knows why- not even VO.

What you have to do is type in the address or go via google or a saved bookmark. That should work.

  • Hi. Just a quick question to everyone. I haven't been with valued opinions that long so I was just wondering do you think it really gives more chance of getting surveys if you do the profile surveys or are they just saying that to make you do them? Also is that the same on all survey websites? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give :) xxx

I find when I keep mine up to date I def get more surveys - not necessarily more that I qualify for but def more overall.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
