Make up in hot weather

Is anyone using foundation in this hot spell? If so, is it staying put, mine is just melting

Hi,

I use mineral powder foundation in hot weather. As it's a powder, it doesn't slip off like liquid ones.

You can pay quite a bit for mineral foundations - like Bare Escentuals, but a lot of ranges do a mineral these days, like Maybelline.

I'm using rimmel stay matte and it stays ok and i do have quite oily skin on the t-zone.

I'm using two, depending on how much coverage I want on the day. If I want good coverage, I use my usual Avon Perfectwear Extralasting Foundation - they advertise that it lasts for upto 12 hours, and for me it really does stay put aaalll day, no matter how hot the weather.

If I just want to brighten my skin and not too fussed about coverage, I will use Avon Shimmer Swirls Face Illuminator. Gives very light coverage and doesn't melt away.

*No I don't work for Avon, am not trying to promote them in any way... just love the products! LOL.

I use Lily Lolo mineral foundation. I have oily skin and anything else just slides off. There is also a finishing powder to make it stay put even more but i don't bother. If I want a longer lasting/fuller coverage I apply it with a damp brush. (Elemental Beauty is good too)

I'm using a light layer of Dream Satin liquid by maybeline and then a spray of Loreal Glambronze, the waterproof one, my make up is going nowhere;)

I use a tinted moisturizer in the summer months (Dermalogica).
