mis-sold mortgage & insurance?

Hi everyone
I took out a mortgage 5 years ago with the lovely Northern Rock.
I had been told, moments before seeing them, by an advisor with another company that I'd need at least 90 mins to go through the whole process of getting a quote and maybe signing up. The champion salesperson at NR (plaques everywhere) managed to have us out the door in less than 40 mins, by simply skipping an awful lot of stuff. It was not made clear that the cover didn't HAVE to be the one they provided. Left the building dazed and confused, but with a mortgage.
Do I have a leg to stand on regarding this mis-sell?
Thanks

Did they not provide you with any paperwork (after)?

Sounds like the whole mortgage amount (plus interest, flowers, chocolate, a harem of beauties and some wine) should be refunded to you pronto. Pretty straight-forward case based on what you've said.0

There is no requirement for them to do so. They were tied agents after all.Do I have a leg to stand on regarding this mis-sell?
