problem with marmalade made in the breadmaker

I have runny sugared juice and not marmalade not sure what went wrong last time it worked well but made rasp jam I made marmalade with sugar jam was that the problem also what can i do with sugared juice so i dont waste it?

Pour it into a big saucepan and bring to a rolling boil. Test for setting after 5 mins and keep going until you get a set.0

I would do as thriftlady has suggested but perhaps add a little lemon juice too to help it set.
