Make & Sell

I'm looking for some ideas of something I can make in bulk and sell on Ebay etc

I'm in a little bit of debt and have almost finished paying it off - 3 months and i'll be done :) I just want something to boost my income a bit.

I did fashion and textiles at Uni about 4 years ago but have hardly done anything with it since. I thought it would be a nice idea to combine something crafty that i'll enjoy with a way to make money.

Thing is, i'm stumped for ideas!

I've got countless fabric in the attic, a sewing machine and more threads than you can shake a stick at! I just need to decide what to do with it.

Any ideas would be much appreaicated.

Lindsay

nice buggysnuggles. I used to buy mine if someone who made them to order, pick your own fabic, she also did spare seat hood covers for buggys too, charged about £60 a cosytoes.

The other BIG need I see, is good cheap ballroom competion outfits, dance sports cost a fortune, especially boys wear I pay £55 for a shiort for a 6yr old, and £50 for trousers.

If you are skilled and serious, then eBay is a pretty rubbish place to sell many (not all though) handmade items where you want to achieve a decent price so you might find a better response by selling on. https://www.etsy.com, or if you prefer to use a european site there is http://en.dawanda.com/ or UK https://www.misi.co.uk

They are also excellent sites for researching what sorts of products other people are already making and selling.
If you can come up with items, styles or skills that fill a niche you have even more chance of making sales - and there's nothing wrong with selling different products via different sites, so you catch as many different customers as possible.

Also I suggest that if you aren't already a member of any of the big craft forums, you join up, as there's always loads of support and inspiration (https://www.craftster.org is fab)!
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.
