You say you "defaulted" are you sure you have a default recorded on your credit file from them?

I would imagie the debt is being passed on to a debt collection agency.

You will probably receive letter in the next month or so..!

I wouldn't contact them unless you can pay it all back?

They have probably passed it onto (or are in the process of doing) to a debt collection agency. Can you afford to pay it off at the moment, or at least make a monthly payment towards it? If so I would write or email to them saying that you have had financial problems (or are having) and if you can't afford all of it say what you can pay monthly.
Since it's fairly recent they might not be too bad with it and at least it beats worrying constantly about what is happening with it and when debt collectors are going to start harrassing you :(

Hi Tottenhamgirl, I had a loan with PTP and defaulted, anyway, I phoned them in January to say I was dealing with Payplan and the lady told me to email over a signed letter saying that Payplan are now dealing with my debt which I did do and I've not heard from them since. My Payplan is only just being set up as took me a while to get in touch with them.
