PAYE employee working from home can i claim expenses?

:rotfl:I am a PAYE employee for a small company of transcribers and translators. I work from home. i dont get paid a set salary. I get paid for the work that I carry out during the month. Can anyone tell me if I'm able to claim expenses for items like electric/gas/telephone/broadband? Hope there's someone there that can help me? Thanks.

Does your contract of employment give your home address as your main plain of work? If you work at home by choice or permission, you are not entitled to anything.

If you are required to work at home, there is an allowance of £3 per week that is available on demand.
