    Please do think seriously about this, I know 4 craft shops that have closed within the last 3 months because of stiff competition.

    Yes, I think you are probably right dragonsoup. The card-makers shop near me is very poorly stocked and never has much of a display going on in the window - I think they probably struggle to break even. It must take a huge outlay to stock a craft shop with enough goodies to make people want to visit again and again.
