Making a Will

Is there a thread somewhere advising the cheapest methods of making a will these days? I think the Post Office used to do them, no? Or is there a site where I can find solicitors who do the best offer?
Kind Thanks.

There are forms you can buy from the post office but personally i wouldnt complete one for all but maybe the simplest. If you make any mistakes which you may not be aware of (your inheritors may be though) the will may be declared invalid. Ring around a few solicitors and citizens advice bureau. I am going to do one soon but mines not simple as i have been married before which has led to some problems and I have been quoted £200 but usually i think you can do one for about £60 or so0

I sometimes used to see advertisements in the newspapers for special offers - £19-95 if I remember correctly. I wonder if these kind of promotions still take place?Only when the last tree has died

It's worth a look at the online services making sure that it's backed by law firms, have a look at these :

I am looking to get a will drawn up in the next two months and it is rather complex given the way I wish to divide my estate and I want it to cover the next 10 years or so, in which my income and assets will massively change for a variety of reasons.
Some things are fixed, some are percentaged based, some benefactors only come in over x amount of estate value, others get certain types of asset regardless etc etc.
This likely to be of reasonable cost?0 -

Many thanks.
I think the first one of those 3 looks very straightforward, and the price is only £29-95
I always worried that online wills perhaps aren't as 'watertight' as I would like to make sure. My personal situation is also a little complicated o I may be better off talking to a solicitor in person. I just don't like paying more than I have to.Only when the last tree has died
