:(:(:(Hi
Can someone advice me please. I took the advice from the forum regarding how to handle DMP and got intouch with National debt line who put me intouch with business debt line. Basciallly because i have been self employed for less 3 month's i have to deal with the creditor's myself but they advised me what to do. They sent me the templates letters and worked out my income and expenditure which i then sent of to my creditors. This was very dawnting but everyone on the forums said there would be nothing to worry about.

I sent of the letters to all the crediors capital one have replied back asking for 3 month's bank statements or 1 month's bank statement along with a tax return form as proof of earnings. Do i have to do this after all i have already sent them my income and expenditure forms. Please advice what to do next. How and what i should write back to them without getting into any hot water with anyone.
Will i have to go to court if i don't give them what they have asked for? where do i stand with this.
Please Helppppppppp..... Total dept 20,240

Replied on the end of the other thread you posted on. Only a court can require you to provide copies of Statements and tax returns. There will be other posts on the board about this, but right now i would just ignore their request for the data and if you write to them just stick to what your wish to arrange. Is this a business debt?

No it's a personal debt but i am self employed so therefore i am being advised by business debt line, my income comes from my business. I spoke to them yesterday and these letter's are pretty standard and they said basically what you mentioned above. I should ignore them and my budget forecast should be adequate.

They are sending me another set of template letters explain that i will be sticking with my DMP with business debt line and to ask for a further 1 months breathing space. By then i should have 3 month's trading figures so that we can can actually put forward the DMP to them that can work. Thank you for replying back to me.
