Lidl Professional Ironing station £49.99!

Just been to Lidl and bought a professional Ironing station. (One of those with the huge water tank attached) for £49.99. It has a 2,300 watt steam output. I checked in the Argos book and they are selling a Phillips one with 2,000 watt output for £199.99!
Just used it and WOW it's really good!
They are also doing half-price fruit and veg for the next two weeks, so we are eating really well now too!

We bought a similar one from Argos a couple of years ago for £70 and they are well worth it - you won't want a normal iron afterwards...

Just got back from the Cricklewood (London) shop and they have a large pile of them. Didn't get one 'cos boalready bought a new iron (cheap from Morphy Richards thanks to an earlier post!). Their fruit/veg/salad is all half price at the moment too.

be careful with some of these, the pipes inside due to pressure and heat come away from the tank and you end up with a very dangerous puddle of water.

Cheers, mine just packed up on me so I went and got one of these and it's excellent!

Anyone know where I can get a cheap ironing board suitable for use with steam generators, I know Aldi have had them in from time to time but my store sold out last time before I could get one.

Item no 850 5497 is a mesh board and item no 850 5837 is £11.99 and is mesh also.

I dont know what the quality of them is like though.
