I'm about to become a student and i'm in between a house move and apart from a temporary job I had from may till mid June i've had no luck finding summer work. I was thinking some sort of walking catalougue distribution maybe, window cleaning (have no experiance), mowing lawns or doing some home based IT work (no idea whats out there except apparently very poorly paid serveys)
I can do anything full time from now till September but then ill only be able to spare a few hours in the morning or evening each day and the weekend after that.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
Alex

On-line surveys?
Just go to http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/family/make-money there must be something there that takes your fancy.0 -
In my neck of the woods there is a person who makes an ok living out of dog walking and general pet care. Aimed at those who work, who have pets at home. So dogs get walked and cats get fed... I know this service is quite popular where I live especially now as people are going on holidays... can be an alternative to kennelling.
Edit: the above is more than dog walking... more like daycare for pets, so the dog for example may spend most of the day in the dog walkers home. Most the time you see her with 3 or 4 dogs being walked... and don't know the daily price, but that will add up0 -
just had a quick look on the net and dog walks, per dog... £8.00.. live in daily rate about £30 / day.. then there is plant care as well for those who go on holiday...
other ideas are sell stuff or recycle electricals for cash as a further boost0 -

I'm going to sign up to Dooyoo and 3 survey sites, I have been tempted to do market research before but not sure it'll pay out a bit like the surveys, and i've always been a bit worried about getting junkmail through surveys as some need real telephone numbers :S ?0 -
In regards to the email simply set up another email account, however I have signed up to quite a few and have recieved little junk mail if at all they usually just send you an email to inform you that you have a survey that needs completing. If you have an iPod touch or iPhone I would certainly reccomend the onepoll app.metalheadzander wrote: »I'm going to sign up to Dooyoo and 3 survey sites, I have been tempted to do market research before but not sure it'll pay out a bit like the surveys, and i've always been a bit worried about getting junkmail through surveys as some need real telephone numbers :S ?0 -

Seems like a good extra earner but is there any safety regulations etc one needs to qualify as to carry out this practice. Can pretty much anyone do this?0 -
