Arena gigs are generally fine (been taking mine since toddlers). Keep them close, as long as you are in seated you will be fine, and take some earplugs because even seasoned 'small' rockers can get a bit antsy with the noise sometimes
thanks both- we went the 2nd night and it was the best I've ever seen them - show 4 for meHad never been to the o2 before and was super impressed with the crowd management etc, so fingers crossed for a repeat! We paid £86 each for tickets (me & hubster) and if I hadn't lost my job I'd definitely have paid to go back again- anyone who is going is in for the night of their lives!
DS will be chuffed - he's really great at shows (west end musicals etc) and LOVES BJ so I'm sure he'll be fine...thanks guys for all your advice xxx
o2 is one of the better venues. Smaller venues can be a bit of a nightmare but as long as you book seating you are usually fine.
I took my DD to see airbourne and it was standing only. She was only 11 and as we entered the rather small hall we realised she wasnt going to see a thing. Cue 2 wonderful security guards who took us around the back of the venue and up to the cordoned off balcony area seating us both on a very low balcony overlooking the stage. So low that the band high fived her when they left the stageBrilliant night!

As far as I know all the tickets so far have been to the side and rear of stage.....we sat rear of stage which sounds dreadful, but were actually brilliant seats!!
If you've not used SFF before you need to collect your tickets outside from the box office (it has see film first above it), there was hardly a queue.
Have a great time....we did!!!:hello:0 -
