But, it all depends on where your side seams sit. If they do not run directly to your side/under the armpits, you should consider buying another. I have added corset to zip back on a prom gown who the customer hasn't been able to do the zip up by about 3" at the top.
If you can get a piccy of you in it to me then I can have a shifty at it for you. x
Sorry, digging up an old thread here but I have a question! My dress doesn't zip up at the back :mad: I've still got 4 months and am losing weight, but I suspect my rather large assets may always be a problem.... Just wondering about what you said about the side seams Linda - if they are directly at the side up to the bust, but then at the bust they still don't reach there, can a lace up back still be put in? Or would you recommend a new dress altogether? Thanks

Sorry, I don't understand. The side seams sit where they should but what is happening at the bust?0

Sorry, I wasn't very clear! I just mean that the sides are under my arm right until it gets to the bust, then the seam starts to slant forwards because of my chest. At least, that's how it looks to me, like there isn't enough room at the front. I can't have anyone help me try it on til March, don't want my fiance to see it.I have spread my dreams under your feet;
