    Good idea to negotiate wages, I wish you success! (And if it works please give me some tips :)).

    I suppose your bank account small print must say something about being tied into T&C for a certain period, but I'm guessing. I've had mine sine the year dot, which, come to think of it, is not such a good idea. :D

    I think, when people talk about a basic bank account, it can be with any bank, not necessarily where you are now. In fact, a fesh start somewhere else might be just what you need to safeguard your money.

    the only problem i have with wages .. is im one of the better paid folks in this area :S which doesnt help my corner .. but i have put a strong case together ie rising costs of living _especially_ as the emergency budget has just happened so its fresh in their minds, plus i did some market research and found out that their turnover is increasing so its all in their hands at the moment, sadly i couldnt give an ultimatum as that forces their hand, but i cant afford for it to backfire on me at the moment lol
