Hi all..

I'm Gemma and i want to be debt free :(

I'v finally got my payments set up and if i stick to them i should be debt free this time next year (well apart from the credit card  )

I'm just wondering, when would my credit file start to improve? *In a few months or once the debts are paid? (I was issued a ccj in 2005 which was paid off in 2007)

*Not that i want to obtain more credit as i never want to get in this mess again!! I am literally just surviving, its awful working 50hrs a week an having nothing to spend on myself or my as much as iwould like on partner an my son :(

    Good luck Gemma,

It can be very difficult when you first start paying your debt, but things do gradually ease over time. Infact it makes you look at how you manage/spend your money and you find ways to save even more.

At first you do have to live "like a Monk" as I say, but you do adjust and as I say you will look more closely at how you spend your money.

    Good Luck.
