Bought the gas BBQ for £15.00 less 20% friends and famlies, very pleased too. also the 12 volt cold box for £20.00 less 20%. All for Aylesbury on Sat.

EDIT, the one I bought is similar to the one shown on page 2, but it is the portable version. Looks better TBH. And as I want it for the caravan its perfect....No gas burner though.

im in aylesbury and i would rather have paid the extra £4.95 for delivery as there was no way i could have carried the 2 big boxes i ordered back to the car. i ordered mine friday and they came today 2 days less than what they said on the web
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.

I have a 13KG bottle, get what you think, there isn't really a 'norm', it's down to personal preference.

Mine came on Tuesday (5th), 2 days earlier than expected, it's not bad for £20 but for £69.99 it would have gone back......there were NO holes to fit the handle!!! I drilled my own.

How long would that likely last? (let's say 1 BBQ a week!) I don't want to be getting it refilled too often (we're actually likely to use it slightly more than once per week)

Also what's the maximum (kg) size that would likely sit underneath if I didn't fit that useless wire basket?

Finally how much does it cost to get a 13kg refilled?
    Ta,
    Hank.

Well it's lasted me about 3 years so far lol, but only had a few BBQ's. 13kg's would easily last you a whole summer using it once or twice a week.
I wouldn't sit a gas bottle inderneath the BBQ, that's just asking for trouble!

It cost me less than £15, not sure what the cost is now though, you don't get them refilled, they just swap the empty one for a full one. I got it from a hardware store near where I live. Best place to go would be a camping place maybe or an actual gas bottle place.

Just got back from big W in Cheetham Hill Manchester and got the table top gas bbq for £15. There is one left that is already made up. Also got 2 two person picnic rucksacks, that as plates, glasses and cutlery for £2 each.

Hope this is of use to someone.

my friend got there gas bottle from the local dump paid a small donation and then took it to be filled up lol

Lol. Thanks for this idea. I just collected a 7kg empty Calor bottle from the local dump and didn't pay anything - which was just as well considering I actually took 2 empty bottles to them earlier in the year! Little did I know that I would be returning to get one back!!!

Anyway, it costs £14.99 for a 7kg Calor Butane refill and because you have the empty bottle to hand back you save yourself the £25 deposit!

I collected my BBQ from the store at lunchtime (took a foldaway trolley with me - another bargain from Woolies!). So now I'm all set...

BBQ plus gas for just over £30!!!
