try for a mortgage with halifax. the higher the credit score the less paperwork they need....

Britannia do 4.25x multiples and allowed my wigfe to be on the mortgage.

so 4.25 your partners income and they put you down as a housewife.. even if you aint. I had similar situation where i could afford mortgage on my own but wife didnt have enough wage slips and she is in temp job.. so was easier to do it that way.

All i can see is hugz... but no raw figures. notwithstanding the hidden debt thing.. and relationship issues she has to work with I would like to know how much his salary is or what multiple the 175k was based on.

What equity they have in their current property etc etc.
