When we bought our wedding rings we asked if they could give us a discount. They knocked 10% off saving us £46.......... Be cheeky and ask.

Ernest Jones & sister company Leslie Davis have a certain amount of managers' descretion that they can give. However, this is limited to a maximum of 10% - any manager caught giving more than 10% without prior authorisation from senior (ie. area or regional) management will be subject to disciplinary procedures so please nobody ask for any extra discounts as you will be turned down flat!! Also, it is against company policy to discount on purchases made using Interest Free Credit or Insurance cards/vouchers.
Occasionally, the company send out mailshots to those who have selected to receive them, some of which contain vouchers for X% off when you spend over a certain amount on a certain range, eg. 18carat, diamonds, watches etc.
If you buy your engagement ring from EJ or LD, then you are entitled to 10% off both wedding rings.
Hope this helps0
