Make up running out all at once

Hi, my favourite make up is running out all at once - my clinique foundation, lippie and cleanser. Im trying to make do with some boots stuff Ive got which is nice but prefer my clinique for those items. Any tips on cost cutting when they run out all at once?

Will your Boots stuff last until you can gradually replace it with the clinique stuff and then if it will you could say buy one item a month or as often as you could to avoid a big hit at once?

Sorry if this isn't much help but I don't wear makeup myself so don't know how long each item should last.

If its foundation ask for some samples to get you through, you could go to a few different counters;), if you fancy a change Estee Lauder are very generous with samples (same company as Clinique).

I'd personally stick with the Clinique foundation and try something like Botanics range for the skincare. I used to use the 3 step, but have since swapped due to reducing costs and its fantastic!

Have you thought about waiting for a really good goody bag from clinique ? Last time i bought two items over £25 in Debenhams, i got £5 voucher, my clinique soap and concealer plus a goody bag with lippy, mascara, blusher and an eye make up remover all in a lovely bag.

If you wanted a good quality option for less - Debenhams have an up to 50% sale (online too) on, with really good reductions on Stila/Elizabeth Arden/Lancome makeup & skincare or you could stock up as suggested before on samples of your Clinique favourites in store and it's likely that they may have an gift offer to link into the sale if they are not reducing their prices.

i have worked out (been using clinique for 10yrs), that on average the best times - are bonus times and during feb/mar/apr/may - debenhams, john lewis, boots and house of fraser have their times and again during august/sept/oct/nov. during dec/jan and june/july - there are no scheduled cbt but small offers. during those peak 4 months harrods, selfridedges and harvey nichols have a cbt too but need too keep eye open on their calendar. i tend to buy and stock up on essentials - so theres always a back up stock.
however, i am nearing end of toner and wondering what to do too!. in between i try a small size items (say cleanser/eyemakeup remover etc) either looking for samples - or if i really need to buy then i look out for other premium offers by say lancome or estee lauder. that way i'll get a gift to try some of their stuff too.

is your foundation running out - as you use the bottle - or have you tried to pop out the nozzle and looked inside - believe me there's at least another couple of weeks use. have you tried to cut open the cleanser bottle or used a lipliner to scoop out the rest of lippie - there is always a fews days if not weeks of supply left.
failing that there is a small offer running til 27th june - have you checked their website. boots have an offer atm, buy 3 items and get 750points. i think boots will do an offer in july too like skin concern/rescue targetted to dry/pores/dull/blemish gift.
