in Loans
Hi,
A bit of background, I am a British citizen who has been living abroad for a number of years. I have also been living with my husband and pretty much entirely under his umbrella. Because of this I think I probably have no financial history, I have only last week applied for my first bank account. (stupid to be tied to someone financially, I know and I've learnt my lesson).
Anyway, I have a part time job and earn good money and I have gone for a full time job that will earn me very good money (if I get it). My husband and I have now split and we are living in the same house and I have no money for a deposit to get out and buy some basics that I need.
So, ideally I'd like to take out a loan of around £3,000 to pay back over a year - which I can comfortably afford with no problems. My question is, do I have any chance of getting a loan with no credit history, does no history equals bad history? Also is there any companies to try first? Any advice at all really would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks
