Cheap venue in Southampton???

We have just set a date for 20 August next year and we are currently thinking of having a garden party for our reception but I am feeling less and less confident about this due to the cost of hiring a marquee, tables and chairs etc. We do not have a lot of money to spend on our day hence the reason for the garden party.
I wonder however if anyone knows of any nice venues in Southampton that aren't ridiculously expensive. We are getting married in a church at 2pm so would need somewhere from about 4 onwards. The only venues I can think of are expensive hotels which we just won't be able
to afford. We can't use the holiday inn because
our friends had their reception there a couple of years ago.
Like any other bride to be I would love to have a lovely venue but we just can't afford it.
The garden party seemed like a good way to have a lovely venue and not spend a fortune but I worry that it would rain and everything would be ruined and hiring a marquee is quite expensive.
I also worry about there not being anywhere for people to have a boogie which most people love to do at a wedding.
It's over a year away and due to a tight budget and limited options it's already becoming quite stressful.
Any advice would be most appreciated. We are planning on having approx 80 guests.
Thanks xx

I got google maps up and worked outwards to find venues within a certain distance for my evening reception, just got the cricket club near my parents for £100 from 12 till close - also means we can do our own food too0

Hi
The Holiday Inn in Southampton City Centre has a deal which is get married for £1k.
A friend of mine got married there in May and it was lovely. It has been done up recently and i was really impressed with the whole day, food and everything. It was a sit down meal for 40 and evening for about 100. Also included wine for the toast, table plan, room to get married in ( I know you dont need this bit, so may cut the cost down). Evening disco and a few other bits i can remember. She managed to do her whole day for £3k.
