Mortgage PPI

I've just woken up and started to question what I'm paying for what. Even discovered I've been paying loan protector on my mortgage for nearly ten years, haven't missed a payment. Can anyone advise me on if I can get any of this back?

Have read some of the threads on PPI [what is PPI?] and I'm going to have a go at sorting mine out. Does anyone have any links to providers of cheap loan protection? Did read about a girl who canceled loan protection with N Rock and got a much cheaper deal.

  • Put this on Mortgage board and you may get a better response.
I do not think that you will get anything back - before you cancel how secure is your job and what is your health like? Consider how you would pay the mortgage if your income suddenly stopped.
You will also need to consider that you are now 10 years older than when you took out the original policy and new policy premiums will reflect this.
