Hot Dog Sausages without MRM

Is it possible to buy hot dog sausages in tins that don't contain MRM (mechanically recovered meat)? Must be in tins not glass. The Asda website states that Ye Olde Oak sell premium hot dogs sausages without MRM, but apparently that's a mistake on the website.
Thanks.

Asda smartprice hot dogs do not contain MRM. These are the only ones my kids will eat since BBC 3 did that programme lol.

    Hello,
Does it have to be a tin? The Herta sausages in the fridge section of supermarkets don't have MRM in them. But they're just wrapped in plastic and I'm not sure if they need to be kept refrigerated.

Lidl do similar packaged hot dogs that are kept on the shelf, but I don't know if they have MRM or not - never checked the label.

There are some quiet good veggie hot dogs these days too if you don't want to risk any of the iffy meat that goes in 'real' hot dogs. From what I remember of my past meat eating days, these taste quite similar, I'm not sure a meat eater could tell the difference if you didn't tell them! They are the refridgerated type in plastic though.

costco do a pack that don't need refidgerating, not too sure if MRM or not, only our grotty teenager son eats them! He doesn't care whats in them he just likes them because they are quick and easy to eat. I have spent my time as a mother providing lovely home cooked food from scratch avoiding MRM. As soon as they are old enough all my good efford has gone out the window!

Wow, never thought to check the supermarket own brand ranges. I thought the more expensive brands might have better quality ingredients. I need them in a tin and not glass for risk assessment reasons. We won't have any refrigeration on the day so can't use any that need to be kept chilled. Thanks for all the replies, it's really helpful.

Try looking for 'mechanically recovered meat' on YouTube. MRM is (in my opinion) one step up from the sweepings up off the floor. Personal taste of course (no pun intended) but I prefer to steer clear of it and since we're involved in a community event I'd prefer not to dish it out to others.

Morrissons do frozen veggie hot dog sausages which taste just like meat ones. And I bought some quorn hot dogs the other day too - not tried them yet though.

I hadn't seen the frozen veggie hot dogs, will have a look when I next go in Morrisons, thanks!

I've had the Quorn chilled ones which I liked and another branded veggie chilled one that Morrisons had on offer a few months back and liked both.
