When there are multiple children and only some of them stay overnight with the absent parent how does the CSA work out what the absent parent should pay?

Does the case have more than 1 PWC?
    A fairer CSA for all

I couldn't tell you HOW they work it out, but I can tell you that they do work it out!

I have three children, the youngest of which is under 12 months and doesn't stay overnight with dad. the other two stay 3 nights a week, on average. When the youngest was born, the amount owed to me increased considerably (not that he pays it!). I assume they do something along the lines of dividing the 25% into three, taking of the 3/7's for the shared care on 2/3s of that and leave 100% on the other 1/3 but that might be too simple!

I agree with Clearingout. That's how it is worked out for my 2 kids who stay different amounts of nights with the NRP.

    Hi,

Thanks for the replies. The case does only have 1 PWC.

I can see it could be very complicated if some kids come some weeks but not others but that it is probably fair.

As kids become teenagers sometimes they want to stay and sometimes they don't.
