I am on a basic package with Sky and pay £20 ish pounds per month. I rang Sky to see if they have any offers if I were to upgrade. They offered me the Sky World package for £10.00 per month for three months. This package includes the 4 sports channels and movies
After the three months I can go back to my original package (which i will) or continue with Sky World which is currently £42.50 per month.
Not sure if this can be done online, I rang them on 08702 404 020
Hope this is of help to someone.
Thanks

Despite the guy on the phone saying otherwise, I called him on a freephone number: 0800 587 5707.
Give 'em a bell and prove 'em wrong!
He insisted I dialled an 0870 number. Wronggg!
lol
Edit: Oh, and this isn't a Grabbit. I did this some months ago before leaving Sky... that's another thread..! That window's cracked on both sides!!0 -
Sky are currently giving away 6 months half price whatever package you are on, with their own discretion, if you ring up to cancel.
They check to see if you've been with them a number of years and if so, they will tempt you with 6 months half price. :T
Last time I tried this, it was just after Xmas and got 3 months. This time, I got 6 months. Got a friend to try and got the same.

A mate told me yesterday that he was paying £8 for everything but the films. Tried this afternoon but no luck at all. Seems to depend who you get on the phone. Shall try again in the morning.Blitzkreig Bob says Hi to those checking his validity!0

Thanks Paul.
How long is/was your friend getting the £8/mth deal?
I may (will) put that to the next person I speak to. I have been offered the 6months half price. Pop for that if I cannot get better, I suppose.
Cheers both (AMO too!!). :T:dance: That window's cracked on both sides!!0
