Tesco have started to sell home brew items

I noticed today in our Tesco Extra that they have started to sell home brew equipment.
Bottles, Youngs wine and beer kits, tubing, sterilizing tablets etc.
I assume most stores have a similar layout, they weren't near the food section but in one of the hardware aisles near cooking equipment etc.

I saw this on here before and whizzed down to my local Tesco extra to find none there, hope they start to stock these as I have recently started making wine from kits, so far all the ones I have made have been quite drinkable - almost scary!0

That's good news.
I hope they start having the wine making stuff in there by the end of August so I can do some blackberry wine, it's heavenly, like a bordeaux.
I'll do some elderberry too. It's great, you don't get a hangover with homemade wines as there are no chemicals.
OP is it the Extra on the A50 by Longton you mean?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Yep, that's the one.
They are in one of the right hand aisles as you go in, about half way up the store.0 -

It's not faff it's fun, I used to make regularly years ago.
I remember one year I made 17 gallons in a september, different ones like elder, blackberry, rosehip, and tea.
You can make wine with plain juice too, it's all just a flavouring if you think about it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.
