slightly on a tangent, but did anyone else notice how this Lucky Day announcement came hot on the heels of this announcement:"As part of our commitment to keep you up to date, we are writing to let you know about a change to your easyMobile service .
As from 1st October 2006, calls will continue to be charged per second but with a minimum call charge of one minute.
This change has been made in line with the competition and will ensure we can continue to offer you great services. "
Which they email everyone rather than texting, maybe hoping no one notices? I've actually complained about this to them already as - while the concept of a minimum call charge is standard - the average min charge is 5p, while the price per minute of a call from easymobile to other networks is 15p, making the minimum call charge to other networks from your easymobile handset now 15p, if that email is accurate. That's 200% more than the average minimum charge from all the other networks.
Unless they clarify this statement to limit the min charge, to say 3p (which is the min charge for em to em calls) or 5p, I'll soon be shifting my custom.
I've been an easymobile customer for over a year, and feel something of a fool for ever recommending them to others if this new minimum charge comes into force - I hope they revise this. Better make the most of the Lucky Days while you're still a customer!0 -

This information was sent out to me and I assume 'point3' via a text message to our phones.

I received a text message yesterday, Tuesday, that Friday 31st will be a FREE day for calls. Not too sure about the new "minimum" charge though. Cheers, Woodville.0

yes, the minimum charge announcement was sent via email to users (mine arrived at 3.10pm 30/08/06) and the lucky day announcement was sent via SMS, (I received mine at 3.25pm on the same day).
If you're unsure on the 'minimum charge' announcement, I'm just going to paste the entire body of the message here for reference to assure you I'm not just ranting:Dear easyMobile.com customer,

Easymobile are not doing a great job of publicising this offer. I didn't get an email or text (as I did last time) but found the details appearing when i went to online support on the website.Moneysaving is costing me a fortune!0
