Job seeker's allowance question

Hi, I made a claim for JSA and had to attend my first interview on wednesday where I saw a personal advisor and signed a job seeker's agreement. She then asked me to come back on friday to sign declarations, which I did earlier today. I'm a bit confused as the next date written down for me to come in again is a whole month from now, and I thought it would be every fortnight. After the meeting a month from now it asks me to sign every second week on "4th friday". It's quite confusing.
I also have a booklet to note down what I have been doing to look for work. I'm assuming I should start filling in the requirements of my agreements straight away? They didn't really say much to me at the jobcentre.
I realise my questions are probably really basic but this is the first time I have signed on so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Normally your sign on date is constant and every two weeks. Maybe they are busy and so have had to move your dates about.
I take with me interview letters or print outs for online job applications (which amusingly they always find frustrating as they have to read these rather than just see you've filled in some boxes :-) ). Or you can just write down on the form what you have been doing. Applied for job at Tesco on dd/mm/yy etc.
You'll soon realise they are not very interested in you and just want you to go through the legal motions to claim. Get's a bit depressing after 6 months (as I am) but hang in there and keep on searching.0 -
Hi
I normally sign on once every 2 weeks and have an appointment with my personal advisor every 4 weeks (well its meant to be anyway), i would defo check with the jobcentre as they are very quick at stopping your money even through their own faults which really isn't worth taking the risk with - it could be a case of re-scheduling on their part but please check with them just in case.
