Seasons Holidays 'win'

Got a letter this morning referring to a Capital FM 'promotion'. I thought it was a competition and that Capital FM were reputable - doh!

Apparently I have been awarded a 'Seasons Go Premier 3 Membership' worth £975. Am advised to ring them on their freephone number 0800 448 448.

Reviewing the boards it appears that this is a timeshare scam:mad:

you could pay the maintenance fee and still have a cheap holiday we did this for their Bude holiday place.You can cancel the membership afterwards, you do have to go to a timeshare type meeting onsite.

I got one today as well...from Classic FM they said...but although there was a Classic FM competition, this was different to what was advertised. Threw the letter in the bin..where it belongs. I know some people do go through this company....if the best way of getting business is scamming people it's just bad practice.

Just received a letter stating you have be awarded a Season go premier 3 membership worth £975.00 after entering Classic FM competition.
Ring this number 0800 448 448 between 11am & 7.00pm monday to friday.... and then goes on to state you pay £260.00 based on 33% first year discount.
This prize is getting better by the minute, mmmm £39 per person admin charge none refundable. A choice of only 10 destinations....

The letter made a good aeroplane which landed in the bin first shot and didnt cost me a penny ....

i won one of these several years ago, then hubby said no we couldnt afford it.

we passed it on to a friend who used it for a few years, you can i hear,
if you use it right save on holidays by choosing the right time to go, she got use of a health facility in a posh hotel here also.
it worked for her, but i reckon you need to know what your doing, ok its not an entirely free win.
