Best Edinburgh or Fife park and ride for Saturday?
Options
As the title suggests, I'm travelling through to Edinburgh on Saturday lunchtime (from Dundee), don't want to drive right into Edinburgh City Centre so I'm going to use a park and ride. Which is best, please?
p.s. already looked at price of trains and Megabus, it's cheaper for me and DD in the car. :undecided:
Thanks in advance, as always.:D

Hi we always use the Ferrytoll park and ride coming from Dundee. It's just before the Forth bridge and drops you off in the city centre or at the bus station. Buses are very regular - about every 10 - 15 mins and it takes about 20/25 mins to get to the sity centre. There is a Ferrytoll website which gives you all the bus times. Have a good day!0

Hi I have not long got my free bus pass, can I use it on park and ride buses in Scotland?

Thanks, I know the way to Ferrytoll, I have passed it plenty of times but had never used it.

Well I drove through to Ferrytoll, hopped on a bus, me and DD, was charged £4.90 TOTAL for a return for both of us for the day (kids don't pay on the family saver according to the driver)
Took about half an hour to go from Ferrytoll to bus station 2 mins walk from Princes Strret. I'd definitely do it that way again.:DMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

If you want park and ride and comming from Dundee then Ferry toll is the best bet.
Also on a Saturday you could park at North Queensferry or South Gyle train station and take the train. South Gyle.0 -
My sister in law used to live at the Gyle two minutes from the train station, I know how pressed they are for parking round there so decided against that.
I did use Ferrytoll, and was well impressed, would use it again next time too, DD wants me to take her back to Edinburgh for another girly day out.:)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
