Posted for the first time yesterday & whilst it was one of the most painful things i've ever done & heard a few home truths I do feel a little better.
Just wanted to let you know I've sold my first thing on ebay & made £14! Looking at changing my home phone line provider & even going to talk to CCCS tomorrow.
Just one thing - reading this message board is addictive! I find myself looking at it all the time! I am beginning to get a hold of my situation but do want to stop money being in my very waking ( & non-waking) thought.
This is probably a silly question but do stores like Aldi/Lidl take debit cards?

Really? It says on the website all stores do, but they don't take credit cards.

Just wanted to say hi and welcome :hello:
Yes Lidles definitely take debit cards.
Also, well done on facing up to your situation. I was in the same boat earlier this year when I posted my SOA and felt awful about it all (£25K) I also believe I got into this mess because I was struck down with chronic fatigue and could hardly work hence the growing debt.
About a month ago it got to the stage where I'd maxed all my c/c and things were very tight. I lay awake most nights breaking out in cold sweats wondering how I was gonna tackle this (similar to what you're going through)
Then I finally made the decision to contact cccs. They put my mind at ease immediately, they do not judge - only help.
I hope you feel better once you speak to them, I know I did.
Wishing you lots of luck and let us know how you get on. I'm sure you'll feel tons better
