Isn't it illegal to offer loans as a solution to debt problems

Good luck carriel x0 -
I am really scared by the CCJ, my husband was headhunted earlier this year & is in line for a directorship next year, is it true that a CCJ can interfere with your becoming a director?
A CCJ in general doesnt affect someone becoming a director as far as I know. Only if there are specific company regulations or the industry in which he works is financially vetted/regulated. What does he do may I ask?
I would arrange an appointment with CCCS but if your still worried waiting until then, I would print off the offer of repayment letter on that website that I linked and send them that. Its the one which mentions the "over-riding objectives". A letter is always more formal and more likely to get their attention, especially when it explains how you will make the court aware of how un-reasonable they are being in which case the court will most likely dismiss the CCJ.Anyone know a good way to make £2500 in a day
Yeah thats easy. You will need 1 x balaclava, 1 x Rope, 1 x Large Bag, 1 x Get Away Vehicle

I'm writing my four week notice letter to Kensington this afternoon, when I started with them, I didnt realise you could get the same advise for free.
Oh, yeah ... write them their due notice but cancel your standing order to them asap. They wont chase you for it. Pay the companies direct what you were paying them through Kensington. Then when you have your CCCS appointment you will have an extra £30 or so to give them

Hi
It might not be them applying for CCJ to get money. i know English law is different and its called something else i think but in Scotland its called a letter of inhibition which means that if you sell your house they get the money owed to them before you get paid for the house.
One company did that to me about a year before they went the CCj route.

No worries, any time
..... I would have linked the letter directly but you need to register (free) to be able to access the library of documents.
Oh, wait .... *SLAPS FOREHEAD* ... I have sent you in the wrong place lol ....
Here is the letter you want:

Its actually of the National Debtline Website. Silly me, getting confused!
Just save the letter, modify it to suit your personal cicrumstances and off you go!

they are applying to the court to have the money we owe them secured on our home, I cannot remember what it was called, apparently we dont have to be at court, is this a CCJ?
I think that's called a charging order. If you sell the house after the mortgage is paid off - they are next in line for being paid from the proceeds of the sale. As you're paying off the debt anyway it shouldn't come to this.
I don't think it's the same as a CCJ.0 -
I would make an appointment to see someone from Nationwide in person. That is because most of their procedures are automated and run by computers with a Boolean Gate (mathematical term). It’s a bit like the sketch on Little Britain where “the computer says nah..) You need to speak to a real person, who will explore alternatives and other possible options.0
