Does anyone have some mtg lender info..... . . Before I get on the blower to the brokers and have a big ring'round to 20-odd lenders, anyone know which, if any of the big lenders will consider someone who: Has only a temp job contract; university, research, job started Nov 2009, was renewed once so far. Present contract expires June 2011 but i expect it to be renewed a 2nd time. . . Wife is a housewife; = at home with our 2 young kids. We were out of country for many years before that (albeit I was rez here for "tax puposes but cannot show evidence of stready income before Nov. 2009). . . NB we are only looking at mtg of ca. 80k on a 220k property so 40% LTV. . . So far I have only asked First Direct so far (cuz they have such good rates), I am a FD client. They spoke to their underwriters in a prelim mtg enquirey call and said...not at this stage,,,as me only the one temp contract renewal and wife not working at all. . . thanks if you have some suggestions, marc
