Ascent & Northern Rock

Hi All - Haven't had to write for a while - all repayment arrangements after lengthy & stressful negotiations been running fine....until.....out of the blue the other week comes a letter from Ascent Collections in relation to a Northern Rock outstanding debt, requesting I contact them immediately etc to set up repayment arrangement. Fine, except this particular debt of £13000 has a charging order on it from September 2007 after negotiations with N.Rock failed and the whole County Court circus came to town.Quite a bad time that has cost personal relationships sadly but things have moved on and I have put it behind me. There was no requirement in the Final Charging Order for instalments to be paid, merely a comment from their solicitor that the debt would be repaid on the eventual sale of my jointly owned property. I am unsure whether Ascent have any rights to demand money from me for their"clients" Northern Rock and so would greatly appreciate any info from anyone who's been in a similar position.Thank you
