Questions about CCJ's, default notice and CCAs....

OK....in addition to myother thread on the total shambles of my finances and my debts LOL I need some specific advice about one of my loans.
Its a Lloyds loan, taken out in 2004. For 3 yearswe have been paying a reduced ammount ona DMPthrough the CCCS which they have been happy to accept.
Then about 2 weeks ago I received a default noticefrom them, and 2days ago a soliciters letter equesting payment of the outstanding ammount(£22000 LOL) or they would be persuing court action.
I already have 2 CCJs and 1 Charging order, and would really like to avoid any more.
My questions....How can I check out that the default notice is legal? Have read lots on here about them not being correct) If it isn't, and the account is terminated, what does that mean?
If default notice is OK, can I request a CCA? If so, can they go ahead with a CCJ before that is sorted ie am I too lateto go down that route?
What are my other options.

Would be VERY grateful for any help, as I'm out of my mind with worry!

TIA

    Hi

If you already have the default notice, you need to scan it, remove all personal details including barcodes and account number and post it here.

A very good poster called 10past6 will tell you if it is legal. Send him a PM when you have the scan/link on here. After that you need to remove the scan from these pages (or the link to it).

Re the CCA, you really need to to get the CCA request off tomorrow, regsitered post because they have to provide it in 12+2 days. Once legal action starts, you need a SUbject Access Request and that takes 40 days.

    So get moving tomorrow.
