I had shark in a restaurant the other day - it was just grilled, and served with a fancy mashed potato and sauce. Type 'shark recipes' into google, there's loads of stuff you can do with it.We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0

Oh I love shark:D It's very simpel to use, treat it soemthing liek salmon.
Grill or roast with some fresh herbs, be careful not to overcook as it is a bit drier than some fish so gets crumbly quite fast. Nice with something gooey like creamy mash or served on a veggie risiotto or BBQ'd with greek salad for a summer dish.

Cook like tuna. Place into a hot pan with some oil. Press it down now & then to maintain good contact with the heated surface.
Turn after 3 or 4 minutes and cook the other side.
It should be just pink in the middle.
Or - you can oven bake it.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
Bury for 12 months. Serve rotten and putrid - or so the Icelandic guy was telling me the other day...Tim0

the only time I've had shark steaks (in a restaurant), they were grilled, similar to the way swordfish is often done.
You could try looking up some swordfish recipes for ideas?working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
I BBQ'd them last time - quite chewy though....0

I cooked them in the oven in buttered foil with lemon juice sprinkled on. Not fancy but delicious!!0
