    Thanks Guys, Prove it letter was sent and a response came back saying that they will contactor the original creditors for the contract letter. That was about 2 weeks ago, not heard anything since. The letters have stopped and the phone calls have also stopped.
    Present Day / 22nd May 2010
    Credit Cards & Loans - £54,032.81 / £63,645.64
    Mortgage - £160,794.47 / £166,894.02
    Total Debt Paid Off so far = £15,712.38
    Debt Free Date = Oct 2013 / Oct 2014

    Do not let these people intimidate you...stay in control and you will feel a lot better...think about what they have done so far! Do you think they would of done that if you really had to pay them....good luck and don't panic
    It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
    Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
    If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
    If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
    If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
