Hello
As some of my debts are with my bank, i understand it is advisable to open an account with a bank that is not financially linked to any of my existing creditors.
I am sure their is a list somewhere on this forum listing which banks are linked, can anyone tell me where this list is please.
My current list of creditors are: HSBC, Cahoot, Bank of Scotland, Egg, Barclaycard, AMEX, Citi, Monument, Capital One.
Also is Bank of Scotland the same as Royal Bank of Scotland.
Thanks

note that Royal Bank of Scotland is NOT related to Bank of Scotland and that Cahoot is part of Abbey
you will probably find your bank statement or credit card statement will say who owe your cards.
nationwide or co-op seem suitable for you0
