Lidl - Carlsburg & Ham

Lidl are selling Carlsburg 500ml Cans @ £4.99 for 8.
Cheaper than Asda (per litre).
This was in Cardiff. They also have an offer on Carling for £4.49 but I don't know for how many or what size cans, sorry.
The guy didn't half look at me funny buying two packs of ham and eight beers whilst on my way to work!!
Speaking of which: their Peppered Ham was priced at £1.69 but went through as £0.99!!

The peppered ham (4 slices in a pack one?) is always 99p - was on offer for 49p last week. Are you sure you were looking at the right label?
Also, some asda's still have the promotional carling multipacks - buy 20 get 4 free for £12.98.

No, its not, but every now and then they have those big signs out for the fruit n veg on offer - jus not at the moment.
Cheers for the info on the other stuff. I may have been looking at teh wrong label (probably) but there was no Asda offer on (in Cardiff Gate) like you mention.

The 5 slice packs of peppered ham are very nice, good value for 99p, and the ham hasn't been pumped full of added water (unlike the Carlsberg
