Anyone got any facts about the vague 'Arrangement to pay' please??

Hi

I have re-posted this thread from the currrent account board in the hope of getting a few more replies.

Quick questions...

I had an arrangement to pay an over the limit OD with lasted one month back in Feb 2008 with Barclays. Received my credit file from Experian and noticed it shows up on my history.

1. How adverse are AP's to one's credit worthiness?

2. Should I close the account as it is not my main, but has been running smoothly and within T&Cs since '08?

3. If I do close the account will the AP remain for 6 years like a default?

Any answers will, as always, be appreciated!

NB
I have found numerous opinions about the severity of an AP and it's duration on a credit file. Please does anyone have an answer that they know is 100% accurate?! Already have 1 default from 2005 and am planning on applying for a 0% BT card, but obviously don't want to if likelihood is that I will be declined.
