Advice on HSBC Personal Loan please.
Options
I currently have about 7500k in a personal bank account, but I owe 7800k on an unsecured personal loan.
I recently lost my job, but I have started taking up a personal trainers course which I think I will be able to have finished by the end of september 2010, basically a few months away.
The course runs on alternate weeks, and at the moment I am having a bit of trouble finding a part time job that will allow me to study alternate weeks.
Is my loan safe throughout this period as there will be no money coming in to the account. Even when I get a part time job it still won't be a massive amount, I just can't risk not getting this course finised as I paid 3k for it and I see a career as a personal trainer as something tht could allow me to retake control of my finances come september and have a better wage than I had before.
I am just a bit worried, they may take back all they can beforehand if they think I cannot pay it off.
I know its a risky idea, but I think the timing is good enough for me to afford to drop in to a bit of debt just to get this course done.
Would it be worth calling HSBC and telling them, or would they just bolt and run with any remaining cash thats in there. If they did that then I would be severely in the mire.
Thanks for your time.

as long as you are making the monthly payments on the loan they would have no reason to take any other money; if however you have stopped paying the loan then yes they will probably raid your savings0

Phew, thats good to know..
I can handle taken on a bit of debt if it means at the end of it I have a half decent job that I enjoy to pay it back with.
I wasn't sure how jumpy they might get if they saw my incomings compared to my outgoings at the moment.
I should be fine as long as I can pick up a part time job asap.
Also I heard about the PPI stuff, Is it worth asking if I am paying PPI or if I do, and it all comes out that I am not working will that just draw attention to myself needlessly.
