Just been to Tesco Middlebrook and they have removed the 6 per customer maximum on all their beer offers.
This includes the 3 for £20 case deal.
Also there are a load of new additions, Crabbies, Magners (Original & Pear), Sol, Brahma.
I don't know if this is national, the staff were just told verbally this morning, all the signs still say 'max 6 per customer'.
Cheers,

Probably site by site dependent on how much stock they have left, my local Tesco haven't been enforcing the rules on 6 cases.
One bloke came in and bought 200 cases as he had a "wedding" that weekend. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -
Middlebrook have had the 'beer police' until today. I actually took the Mrs with me so I could get 12 cases.
Round here Asda are controlling it differently, if you put more than 6 cases thru' it only gives you the discount on the first 6.
Morrisons seems to depend on who's on the checkout.
Tesco seems to be quite chaotic, with different offers at different parts of the store. There were piles of cases randomly round the store, pricing on them seemed equally random.
At the entrance there's a huge pile of Bud's (15's) with a large pile of 'free' ice buckets. But they are only with the Bud 10's that are in a fridge.
You would be far better off buying 45 Bud's for £20 and paying for the bucket (£4.50), rather than buying 20 Bud's for £18 and getting the free bucket.0 -

These offers attract pub landlords to stock up on bottles, often filling up a van. This can lead to punters turning up and finding the store out of stock and complaining about the lack of the advertised offer. However if the stock isn't shifting, or they can handle the volume, there is no need to put a customer limit on. So each store will alter the rules per there own trading.
Pub landords are either in tied supply contracts or they are free of tie and able to buy where they like. With high tied prices many do cheat if they can get away with it and the special offers push the unit price below both the tie and cash and carry's.I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. It's the good girls men should be warned against.-David Niven0 -

24 of course, the 12 I went for & the extra 12 I bought when I found out the restrictions had gone.0 -
The max 6 per customer has always been interpreted as 6 of each product at my local store. So if there are 3 different beers on offer you could get 18 in total. Not sure how other stores interpret it.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550

That's the way sainsbury's did it on line too. I bought the maximum of one type of beer and it told me I had ordered the maximum, and if I ordered any more they would be charged at full price. But it allowed me to buy another brand at the offer price.0
