LX Direct money off question

It is my son's birthday in 2 weeks and I have seen a bed set & curtains of his fave characters on LX Direct.

I've noticed on Hot deals that you can £15 off for new customers and a seperate one for £15 off existing customers.

The bed set is £24 and the curtains £22.

I'm hoping to order seperately so get them for £9 and £7.

I've never ordered from LX Direct before so new customer codes will work for me.

Do you think I would be best ordering the bedding as a new then the curtains as an existing, or do 2 new orders using my name then my mums??

I want the presents in 2 weeks so not sure which is the best option.

Any advice? Thanks

  • Hi ya if your a new customer and have not had an account with them then the code will work for you. In order to try and get both items discounted you would need to order them seperately. The only thing is although you can bank on the first discount code working as your a new customer you really can't bank on the second code working it might work if you order the second item at a later date but sometimes for exsisting customers the codes don't work so it might br worth getting your mum also to open an account as long as its from a different address it would work if its the same address but in her name it won't work as they only allow one account holder per address regardless of using different names.
Hope this is of some help.

make sure it shows at checkout as if not they won't honour it afterwards - & if u return it they still charge postage. oh & check your bank statement if u pay by telephone banking as they say i never paid even though is on my statement. couldn't get website to accept my card so did it by telebanking so now have to send copy statement - lot of farce for £3.50!
