Does anyone know of a loan company that will accept me because im not on the electora

I Moved house 6 months ago & have always had a really good credit rating, however ive tried to apply for a £3000 loan and am being refused left, right & center! Ive just paid equifax to see my credit report, which is in good condition, other than im not on the electoral roll yet. I did apply to my local council when i moved in, have spoken to them today & they said it should be updated on my credit file, but isnt!! my previous credit history is good, ive got 5 credit accounts on there, inc my bank account, mobile phone contract, credit card and 2 catalogues, none of which have ever defaulted.
has anyone else had this problem? and does anyone know of a loan company that will look at my credit history & not the fact that it doesnt show me as being on the electoral roll yet?

doubt you will get a 3k loan until you show on the ER,especially now you have been applying "left right and centre"having been refused to often you will have to wait a few months now then apply again once on the ER and all those searches have cleared

If the local council definitely has you down as being on the electoral roll then it would be unlikely that all the CRAs have managed to make the same error and not show you on the electoral roll.
Check if you are on with experian (either by the free trial or a £2 report). If you are showing on the electoral roll with experian then at least some of the places you have tried are likely to have checked with them - which might mean there is a different reason you are being declined.

Have you contacted Equifax about their error and asked them to correct it?

I have never been on the ER and have never had problems obtaining mainstream credit.
