  • I think a ccj is a ccj regardless of the amount, and afaik it will show for 6 years.

What sort of size loan are you after and for how long?
Some of the subprime cards will accept people with CCJs, but obviously charge high APRs so would probably only be suitable for a small amount for a short period.

Aside from that you could possibly consider a credit union, who tend to look at affordability more than credit rating. Again only lend fairly small amounts and many require you to start a small savings plan with them first.

Or maybe consider the tips here http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/cheap-personal-loans#obtain

Im looking to loan around 6000 to pay my credit card off 2200 and buy a little car for around 3800.. I would pay this over 4 years and could easily afford this..
Im hating these CCJS :( If i knew about it, i would have paid the amount.. its only a hundred pounds pfft haha!
Any advise is always appreciated by all

    thanks

Try getting the ccj set aside on the grounds of not being informed of them starting court proceedings then either pay it or defend it .
