.....how on earh do you cancel your account?......I stupidly i wanted to buy a pool when they were on offer (£50 for a 12ft) so ordered one thinking after you put in your address etc etc it will ask for card payment but it never
anyway they sold out of the pools and i thought nothing of it. But over a week ago i had a letter saying i have x amount credit etc etc how did that happen
so how can i cancel it? people have said keep the account but i know i will be tempted, so how do you close the darn thing

someone must know, you will be helping a youngster who know nothing :rotfl: 0 -
Is there a number or an address on the letter that you could contact them with?

simply write to them stating that you want the account closed with immediate effect and that you want written confirmation that your request has been actioned.
Hubby bought a shed from Argos on a 3 month interest free deal and they gave him a £2K limit straight off (:eek:)
Needless to say a letter was quickly typed wanting the limit reduced to just cover the cost of the shed!2014 Target;

i've heard that they are absolutely awful to deal with when something goes wrong, so whatever you do persevere with them and throw all you have at them if they try and make things hard for you.Payment a day challenge:

Yes I think that would suffice. I would use the payment address as that would be processed quicker I think. Make sure you keep copy of letter and request confirmation though
