Not sure about specific dental tablets, and if there are any I'd bet you'd pay a premium for them. Generally vits A, C and D are the ones most important for teeth and gum health, and of course calcium when looking at minerals.
Best thing really though for teeth is to avoid the stuff that causes problems ie sugary stuff (also including fruit if you don't rinse) and fizzy drinks. Drink water after eating where possible, brush, floss...basic dental care done properly and you shouldnt really need supplements

Calcichew! (calcium plus vitamin D pills- you need the vitamin D to absorb the calcium)

None of the above. Once teeth are formed nutritional calcium makes no difference at all. Calcium is not absorbed from teeth and during the first few years of life you would get rickets before calcium is leached from developing teeth.

Vitamin c will prevent scurvy but otherwise has no effect on gums.

Save your money brush, floss and eat sensibly . There is no evidence for any food supplement, vitamin doing any good for dental health.

Just make sure you use a fluoride toothpaste.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

Aren't all toothpastes now 'flouride' toothpastes? I've spent hours studying toothpaste ingredients as I was looking for a toothpaste without SLS, as it seems to cause mouth ulcers in my DD and OH.

Is all the information about Coenzyme Q10 just hype then - isn't it supposed to be good for your gums?

What do our resident dentists think about the glycerin? Some say you should make sure you get a toothpaste without glycerin as it prevents the teeth from remineralising?
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

One of the sensodynes( original I think) is the only easily available sls free toothpaste I know of.

Coenzyme q has had no effect in the clinical studies I have seen.

There are fluoride free toothpastes out there though the topical effect of fluoride is well known in helping to prevent decay.

Other than not rinsing out after brushing at night to let the fluoride do it's work I have no other preferences with pastes. Glycerin I have no thoughts on except for vegetarians.
