Yep. These phones are not of much use (when calling landlines from a computer) especially when you check the rates provided by other call providers on the MSE Call checker.
They are useful for PC to PC communication over the internet which is free .0 -

Funny, I saw him on TV the other day saying how good they were as long as you used them for free calls only.

Nothing wrong with the phones or using them in Tesco "free mode" or with any other VOIP service that you choose to use.
